Police Release More Info On Monday Night’s Arterial Accident [UPDATE]

Utica Police have released the names of the two people involved in the car-pedestrian accident that happened on the Rt 5/8/12 Arterial last night.

After reconstructing the scene and talking to witnesses, it was determined that 20 year old Chelsie Glouse, of Utica allegedly crossed against a green light at Noyes Street when she was hit by a vehicle driven by 21 year old Ien Yarosz, of New Hartford.

Glouse was treated at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for a broken arm, leg and pelvis, but was transferred to an Albany Hospital for further treatment.

Police say there were no fatalities and no tickets have been issued, but the investigation is continuing.
