Voice Actor John DiMaggio to Speak at SUNY Delhi Tonight

The SUNY Delhi Student Programming Board and the college’s Japanese Animation Club present famed voice actor John DiMaggio at 7 p.m. Wednesday in The Okun Theatre.

John DiMaggio will present, “I Know that Voice,” an insider’s look at the world of voice over acting in animation and video games. His presentation will be followed by a question and answer session and a “meet and greet” with the actor.

DiMaggio is a New Jersey native whose voice is his claim to fame. He is best known as the voice of Bender the Robot in the hit television series “Futurama” and his voice is also featured as Jake the Dog in “Adventure Time.” DiMaggio’s voice has been featured in other popular animation, including “Pound Puppies,” “The Simpsons,” “Kung-Fu Panda,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” Scooby Do,” and “Looney Tunes.”

This event is free and open to the public.
